RRBS (Reduced Representation Bisulfite Sequencing)

Facts & Details:

Reduced Representation Bisulfite Sequencing (RRBS) is a commonly used method to create a representative high resolution picture of the epigenome, while reducing the amount of sites analyzed employing a restriction enzyme. Due to the involved bisulfite conversion, the complexity of the DNA is reduced which has to be addressed when choosing the number of samples to be pooled in one experimental run (lane) as well as when subjecting the resulting data to downstream analysis.
