Scientists from the Universities of Kiel and Copenhagen, and the Danish Diabetes Academy are jointly organising an Autumn School on The Role of the Microbiome in Complex Metabolic and Inflammatory Diseases. It will take place in Ebberup, Denmark, from 29 September to 02 October 2019.
During the Autumn School, PhD candidates will be trained via a highly integrative, interdisciplinary approach. Approximately 55 young researchers will have the opportunity to discuss and network with fellow PhD candidates and high-ranking, established senior scientists from different fields of microbiome research. The programme will include lectures as well as workshops, poster sessions, and networking opportunities.
