Research Interest

I am interested in understanding the molecular signatures of disease and therapy response in chronic inflammatory diseases by applying next-generation sequencing on patient samples. In my daily work, I employ multi-omics analysis and machine learning methods to cross-sectional and longitudinal studies to delineate the molecular basis of disease activity and identify biomarkers for therapy response. My ultimate goal is to identify molecular predictors of individual disease outcome that might be applicable in future disease management of chronic inflammatory disease.
