The prediction of human phenotypes from NGS data – talk of Prof. Silvio Tosatto, University of Padova, Italy

The main scientific interests of Silvio Tosatto are the prediction of protein structure. He studied bioinformatics and business informatics at the University of Mannheim and started specializing during his PhD in the fields of operations research and optimization of protein structure. He has been working as a PostDoc at the University of Padova (Italy) since 2002 and became an associate Professor in 2007, being one of the youngest associate professors in his particular area in Italy. His current research focuses on "The prediction of human phenotypes from NGS data" and will be presented on 17 June 2015, 09:00h, within the Labtalk of the IKMB at the ZMB (Am Botanischen Garten 11, conference room 4th floor)
