Research Interest

My goal is to identify genetic determinants of treatment response to anti-TNF drugs in inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and related inflammatory diseases. I am also searching for transcriptomic biomarkers of IBD using RNA-sequencing methods and bioinformatics methods, and perform transcriptome-wide association studies (TWAS) to identify changes in gene expression shared between IBD and psychiatric disorders.
