Our Sanger sequencing platform consists of three Applied Biosystems 3730xl DNA Analyzers. This 96-capillary sequencer is the gold standard for high-throughput Sanger sequencing und enables the generation of high-quality data at a low cost per sample.

We offer a sequencing service for our external partners once a week as part of an academic collaboration. Apart from routine sequencing of PCR products and plasmids, the Sanger platform also carries out genotyping of microsatellites, RFLPs (restriction fragment length polymorphism) and MLPA (multiplex ligation-dependent probe amplification) samples.
