Head of Laboratory and Senior Scientist at in the Institute for Digestive Research, Laboratory of Clinical and Molecular Gastroenterology at the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences she has received her doctoral degree (2011) from the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences, Department of Gastroenterology, and completed her post-doctoral training (2012-2014) in the Institute of Clinical Molecular Biology, Christian-Albrecht University, Kiel, Germany.
This summer she was awarded UNESCO-L'Oreal research price for woman - the most prestige price for women researcher in Lithuania.
