My research focus lies in host-pathogen co-evolution, with a specific emphasis on recent human evolution. By using both ancient and modern genome data, I analyze human immune gene diversity that evolves in response to a dynamic pathogen landscape that our species have faced. Through this exploration, I aim to shed light on the evolutionary forces shaping variations in disease susceptibilities among individuals and populations.
