Research Interest

My focus area is host-microbe interactions, which includes studying the tremendous influence of the microbiota on host physiology, but also the mechanisms bacterial pathogens use to manipulate the host to favor infection. I’m especially- but not exclusively- interested in the role of epitranscriptomic modifications in these processes.
