Sequencing

Facts & Details:

The sequencing platform at the IKMB consists of one Illumina HiSeq3000, 4000 and NextSeq 500 each, as well as two MiSeqs and two NovaSeqs, one PacBio Sequel and three Applied Biosystems 3730xl DNA Analyzers. We can thereby cover the whole spectrum from small-scale sequencing projects up to human whole genome sequencing. For detailed information abut our next generation sequencing platform, please visit the CCGA-homepage.

We perform sequencing for external partners as part of a scientific collaboration aiming at a joint publication. If you are interested in next generation sequencing at the IKMB/CCGA, please submit a request via www.ccga.uni-kiel.de. For Sanger, please send a request sheet to the contact person specified. We can then also provide a quote for your sequencing project. For all NGS projects, we provide barcoded sample tubes which need to be filled and sent back to us together with the official sequencing order. If not agreed upon otherwise, the results will be provided as raw data in fastq format.
